Hear what our clients have to say about us...

"I had a lot of book knowledge on kettlebells when I decided it was time for some professional pointers to make sure I was really practicing correctly. I was amazed at how much there is to know about form and execution. Jason was very patient and would go at my speed with his training and tips…he is highly trained, coached, and skilled with your best interests in mind. I highly recommend Jason for your kettlebell practice (though his depth and knowledge is much more expansive- start a coversation with him regarding nutrition, bodyweight training, yoga, powerlifting, etc.). Bottom line- he knows his stuff and his heart is in the right place."

"I've been training with Jason one day a week since October 2011. He is a phenomenal teacher and his depth of knowledge is immense! Jason has taken our group class from brand new to weight training to doing kettlebell swings, Turkish get-ups, and other challenging workouts, all with the aim to make us better all-around athletes. We have a mix of cyclists, triathletes, and others looking to build overall fitness -there is something for everyone in Jason’s class…I always look forward to my class with Jason and have seen a direct positive impact from weight training with Jason on my strength and explosiveness on the bike!"

"Jason is the full package and I don’t offer that lightly. He’s one of those rare people that you can call a true “seeker,” meaning he’s never content with his existing knowledge. He was already a couple cuts above when I met him two years ago. But in that time he’s picked up 10-15 years worth of learning and implementation. Huge tool kit to help you progress quickly even if you have some nagging injuries you need to work around. He’ll probably fix them. The stuff he showed me for my nagging shoulder injury worked. Jason is an outstanding coach and trainer. Hire him if he has any spots left. The dude is booked solid."

"Lea is an amazing trainer! I’m a volleyball player and a generally athletic person, but have had 3, prior, sports-related surgeries as well as some existing injuries. When I started seeing Lea, almost a year ago, I was struggling to find things that I could do in the gym – I felt like giving up on trying to workout and was getting out of shape. I wasn't even sure what a trainer could do with me. Lea was great-she was really positive and enthusiastic about training me. She has amazed me with her creativity in my workouts. She puts a lot of thought into my program and is also really good about coming up with alternative exercises on the fly if something isn't working for me. She’s very encouraging and I look forward to our sessions as I always know she’s going to work me really hard and get me to push myself to improve my performance. I've made so much progress! I’m now doing reverse lunges, which I didn't even think were possible with my knee problems. I’m deadlifting more weight than I ever imagined I could. My arms have gotten really toned and even my orthopedist is impressed because my shoulder has gotten stronger despite the rotator cuff tear (he said “you must have a really good trainer”). I’ve become a stronger person and I couldn't have done that without Lea!"

"As a 200, and 500 meter sprinter, I am in need of raw strength and power. Coach Swenson’s expertise in power lifting, periodization, and plyometrics helped me to become better and stronger. Lea was able to get me to my full potential in the weight room while making it a fun environment. She is a great coach and will make sure that you hit every lift with great form. I highly recommend Coach Swenson. Simply stated, Lea is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had train me. She molded my weight room workouts to mesh perfectly with my technical workouts on the track. She is a fantastic motivator; she knows just how to break down and rebuild an athlete both mentally and physically. But what’s most pertinent to her success is that Lea is selfless. She invests her every moment to making others better–as athletes, team players, and people."
